We are Tunisian and proud to be
Our droplets of voices turned into a tsunami
That washed away an emblem of tyranny
And brought us freedom and harmony
With martyrs blood we grow our tree
Its countless branches reflect our inner beauty
So high in the sky even clouds are glad to see
How this great people can live in an aerie
Proud, patriot, brave and owners of dignity
The Egyptians believed in the possibility
Likewise they made proof of great tenacity
Tens, thousands, then millions who called the world's curiosity
To see how peacefully we can change history
And give a lesson on how peace can vanquish autocracy
